Buddhist approach
Front and side-veiws of Buddhist approach
Buddhism whose founder Siddhartha Gautama, was
given the title Buddha meaning Enlightened One, traces its otigin to India.
Followed cheifly in the North-eastern parts of the country, Buddhist life
is one of moderation. Their temples are tower like structures called pagodas,
the various levels of which represent levels of Heaven and Earth, or the
various goals that a Buddhist must acheive to gain salvation. Buddhist
temples convey an unique fragility and lightness of medium, drawing their
beauty from the frugality and symmetry of their ornamentation.
